ClearBridge Operating Solutions is driven by its Principal Consultant, Matthew Gilbert. Operating out of our Torrington, Connecticut headquarters, Matthew built his operational foundation over 15 years deep inside the enterprise industrial distribution landscape.

Having driven supply chain strategy and industrial sales for national heavyweights like MSC Industrial Supply Co. and Kimball Midwest, he saw the exact friction points where the industry was breaking. He watched independent manufacturers—specifically the $1M to $8M machine shops and tier-2 suppliers across New England—bleed margin simply because they lacked the insider knowledge of how major distributors structure pricing, negotiate national accounts, and deploy local reps.

ClearBridge was founded to weaponize that insider knowledge for the local shop floor. We act as your fractional operations arm, bringing Fortune 500-level procurement strategies, Lean workflow mapping, and ERP integration out of the corporate boardroom and onto the shop floor where the physical work actually gets done.
